How the ExecRank Team Helped ASCII Source 4 New Board Members
Founded in 1984, ASCII is the oldest and largest group of independent information technology (IT) solution providers, integrators and value added resellers (VARs) in the world. The organization’s focus remains the same -- providing solution providers with the tools necessary to survive and grow in the competitive technology market.
“On behalf of The ASCII Group, Inc. I would like to commend you on your professionalism and the way you enabled us to sign up four outstanding candidates. These new members have experience at senior levels with important companies and our large Group of IT companies under the ASCII umbrella will be helped by the business experience of these new members.” - Alan Weinberger, CEO, ASCII Group
After receiving 23 qualified applicants to their open position on the ExecRank platform, ASCII CEO Alan Weinberger worked with the ExecRank team to schedule interviews with 10 leading candidates. After careful vetting and an extensive interview process Alan extended offers to four ExecRank members to join their board.
The four executives that were extended offers from ASCII included Dr. Anthony J. Rhem, President of A.J. Rhem and Associates in Chicago. Dr. Rhem is an Information Systems professional with thirty years of experience, a published author, and educator, presenting the application and theory of Software Engineering Methodologies, Knowledge Management, and Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Rhem worked closely with ExecRank Corporate Analyst Michael Dublin as he prepared for the interview process with ASCII.
“I had the pleasure of working with Michael Dublin at ExecRank. Michael kept me in the loop regarding this opportunity every step of the way. Michael’s input concerning the company and explaining the details of this advisory opportunity were essential to my conversation with Alan Weinberger, CEO of the ASCII Group. My conversation with Alan went very well and included a complementary flow of ideas and pertinent information about the ASCII Group. My preparation and subsequent conversation contributed greatly to successfully being appointed to the Advisory Board of The ASCII Group.” - Dr. Anthony J. Rhem, PhD.
